    Wang Binglong

    Shanxi, b. 1943 After graduating from the high school associated with the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1950, Wang Binglong worked in film art, photography, illustration, calligraphy, and set design. In the beginning in of the 80s, he created the new art form of calendar opera photography. The calligraphy works exhibited here show Mr. Wang Binglong’s accomplishments in traditional art forms.  

    王秉龙：1943年生于山西，50年代毕业于中央美术学院附中，从事电影美术、摄影、连环画、书法、空间设计等多方面的创作，80年代初开创了戏曲年画摄影这样新的艺术样式。本次活动中的书法作品展现了王秉龙先生深厚的传统艺术修养。
